Writing and Planning

I have continued working on the second Sylas Sterling novel. I’ve written about 2,250 words so far. The first book was nearly 49,000, so I’ve got a ways to go. In addition to starting that book, I’ve been brainstorming. So, I’ve also got some general idea of what I want the third book to be able about. If all goes according to plan, I hope to have a comic book available to tie into the third books release. If you have any feedback, I’d take it into consideration while the next book is in progress. One other note in regards to the first book. I made some additional corrections after the initial publication, so if you come across some punctuation errors I think they have mostly been fixed. Starting a Sequel

While promoting my first novel, I haven’t written much. Today, I wrote 711 words and got started on the sequel to Sylas Sterling and the Lucas County Curse. I do have another work in progress, that I will return to occasionally. A random part of the process seemed interesting to me. As I was starting a new word document, I decided to save it, like everyone should to make sure that they don't lose their work. I realized that I needed a name for the document. At first, I considered, SylasSterling2, but I wanted something more creative. I went with a title that I will not share here, since the working title could be the actual title. I will say that it included the word “Two.” Time will tell if this title sticks. For the first book, I change the main character name and book title name multiple times trying to find something unique that I really liked. Thanks, J. Allen Tucker
