I have continued working on my new project.  I am up to 2138 words thus far, with an additional 528 today.

  Today, I continued work on my new project.  I have a pretty solid working title, but that specific announcement is for another day.

Sometimes inspiration strikes.

Starting a new book is exciting. Finishing one is something else entirely. When I begin a new story, the possibilities are wide open. New scenes, new ideas, new mysteries, and new characters that could lead me anywhere. Early momentum makes me feel like I will finish in record time.

Since 2021, I have slowly been working on the sequel to Sylas Sterling and the Lucas County Curse . Recently, I have been making progress on the book, along with a few other writing-related projects.

I have continued working on the second Sylas Sterling novel. I’ve written about 2,250 words so far. The first book was nearly 49,000 words, so I still have a ways to go.

While promoting my first novel, I haven’t written much new material. Today, I wrote 711 words and officially got started on the sequel to Sylas Sterling and the Lucas County Curse . I do have another work in progress that I plan to return to occasionally, but it feels good to be moving forward with Sylas again.

Thanks again to the writing community on Twitter. Yesterday, I hit 250 Twitter followers! Thanks everyone. Today, I wrote 633 words. I finished another chapter in my second novel, and I also made a few small additions to my first novel’s third draft. Thanks, J. Allen Tucker

The second round of #proof copies arrived today. Four of these are going to beta readers. I did not write yesterday, but today, I wrote 716 words. Thanks, J. Allen Tucker

I spent time reading a proof copy of my first novel.  Along the way, I made notes to make a some changes. I also found time to work on my second novel and wrote 570 words. Thanks, J. Allen Tucker

Today isn’t over yet, but it has been productive. I added an additional 1,151 words for my second novel. This brings my total for the month to 8,152. Thanks, J. Allen Tucker

I did not write as much as I would have liked today. However, I finished a chapter. I am still trying to maintain a daily writing regiment, which has gone well for the month thus far.
